Hello! I'm Caroline Armstrong, the heart and soul behind Teamworks.

My journey to success wasn't easy. Growing up an undiagnosed woman with autism and ADHD, I faced numerous challenges, especially in communication, focus and consistency.

Despite my best efforts I found myself constantly upsetting people, misunderstanding them, distracting them, and feeling like I was letting them down.

I felt disconnected and isolated, unable to understand why I just couldn’t “get it”.

I felt frustrated and alone, desperately wanting to know the hidden knowledge that others understood but I couldn’t seem to grasp.

As I got older, I discovered a passion for Behavioural Science, driven by a desire to workout the elusive “people” code.

On a practical level, it turns out, I was also naturally gifted at understanding how to run a business, and I ran a few successful production-based businesses that didn’t require any skilled people management.

But I wanted to be of more service to people, I knew that having a service based business was the right next step for me.

However, the problems that had plagued me in my younger years created new problems when it came to the practical, everyday aspect of leading and engaging a team. A team that I needed to be consistently delivering quality customer service to build my business.

As a result, for the first time in my business career, I was struggling. Really struggling.

I felt out of my depth and these struggles soon began to cause problems within business that were keeping me up at night, worrying about whether things were going to fall apart completely.

Not realising I had undiagnosed conditions, I started to believe I was the problem; maybe I just wasn’t cut out for this "boss thing" after all.

However, the turning point came when I combined my knowledge in Small Business Management and Behaviour Science and set about to create a unique business model, one built on carefully crafted systems, structure and processes that supported me, as a neurodivergent owner, to give my employees a far better employment experience.

With this model, I could finally lead effectively, empower my team, and ensure a standout client experience that drove revenue, even when I wasn’t there to watch.

Implementing this into my business revolutionised my ownership experience and changed my life forever.

After successfully selling my business and relocating, friends reached out for help in there businesses, and what I know now is that by examining, systemising, and developing how I ran my business I realised I had created a playbook for EVERY business owner feeling overwhelmed and struggling with a way forward to achieve the success they want.

Teamworks was born from this realisation.

So Teamworks is really about passion for guiding small business owners like you to build a business that not only serves you, but also empowers your team and delights your clients too.

I have seen the results again and again. People finally having the ownership experience they actually signed up for!!! I understand the life-changing power that comes from sharing my simple but revolutionary way to transform your business vision into reality, and become that industry leader you know is needed.
